Added: (Tue Feb 05 2019)

Pressbox (Press Release) - The Secretary of Labor for the United States, Alexander Acosta has issued the Employment Situation report for January 2019. In the report, the secretary has stated that the job report reflects the strength of the US economy, which grew robustly despite various hurdles. The report which will come as a piece of good news for thousands of aspirants who are interested in immigration to USA stated that more than 300,000 new jobs were added in various industries. The job surge came mainly from the private sector and carried forward job growth despite a partial shutdown of the government. According to the report released by the labor secretary, there has been strong and significant growth in the mining, transportation and warehousing, and construction sectors in the past year.
This report comes as another piece of welcome news for persons who were aspiring for immigration to USA(https://globaltree.in/services/immigration/united-states-of-america/). An increase in job requirements will improve prospects for skilled as well as unskilled immigrant workers in the US, with more employers seeking to hire employees from abroad, with the requisite skill sets.
On a related note, the average earnings per hour rose by more than three percent over the month, which has been the sixth consecutive month in which the hourly wages have been growing. The average weekly earnings too rose by more than 3.5 percent from the corresponding period last year, while labor force participation ratee increased to more than 63 percent, which is the largest increase in six years.
While an increase in the number of jobs available in the US labor market, may not directly translate to an increase in the number of visas, it will mean that as US corporations start to look for more suitable employees to fill vacant job positions across industries and across skill sets, they will start to hire more skilled workers from abroad, which in turn will lead to better prospects for those who aspire for immigration to USA.
This news which comes on the heels of president Trump’s positive announcement on the fate of H1B visa applicants is likely to be welcomed by aspiring immigrants to USA.
