WHAT’S YOUR WAY TO BE FIT???

Pressbox (Press Release) - In today’s world, almost every person wants to be fit & live healthy life. The reasons behind this want may differ from person to person. Such as someone wants to look like his/her favourite celebrity, someone is conscious about his/her health, someone does it for a particular job and for many other reasons. Here we will discuss some ways to be fit-

Basically fitness is divided into two parts. They are as follows-

· Proper Diet.

· Exercise.

Diet-


Diet is nothing but what we eat in a whole day. Food intake of a person defines his/her healthiness. Proper diet must be a combination of proteins and carbohydrates as per one’s body requirements. Excess food intake than the requirement gets converted into fats and stored in the body. Hence over-eating should be avoided. There are several types of diet plans depending upon the items included or excluded in them. We will discuss them in future.

Remember-

‘Fat lasts longer than Flavour.’

Food items to be included in diet-
Oats, fruits as a source of natural sugar, almonds, dates for energy, egg whites and chicken as a source of protein, green vegetables and other salads for fibre.

Food items to be avoided in diet-
Items with sweeteners, ice-cream, sugary drinks, pastries, junk food, ready to eat items, white bread, baked food, chips, processed meat.

Exercise-


Exercise is nothing but the movement of the body parts in a particular manner to achieve the specific results/changes in the body. There are various types of exercises for achieving fitness goals. Now we will have a look at these types-

CrossFit: –

CrossFit exercise is a combination of strength and conditioning workouts which consist of functional movement that is performed at high intensity level.

Cardio: –
Cardio exercises are those exercises which raise the heart rate of a person and engage his/her cardiovascular systems into high burn by using much resources in short period of time.

Zumba: –
Zumba is a dance form which involves variety of moves that are done with music and result into fat burn. It is a combination of high and low intensity dance moves which burn the calories at high rate.

Aerobics: –
Aerobics is a type of physical exercise which is a combination of rhythmic stretching exercises and strength training routines for improving all aspects of fitness.

Weight training: –
Weight training is the most common type of exercise which is also referred to as muscle training. In this weights are used in the gym for doing variety of exercises that contribute in the growth of muscles.

Body weight exercises: –
These are the exercises that are done without using any equipment. We can do this exercises at home, in the park, or anywhere while travelling as well. They include squats, lunges, push ups, plank, etc.

Tabata workout: –
This is a Japanese technique which also referred to as HIIT workout. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. In this technique 8 rounds of high intensity exercises for 20 seconds each are carried out with 10 seconds interval in between every 2 rounds.

Jump rope (Skipping rope): –

Rope jumps are considered to be very efficient for fat loss and building stamina. There are various techniques of jumps by using rope. Combination of these techniques helps burning excess fat in the body.

Resistance band exercises: –
Resistance band is an equipment best suitable for those who cannot lift weights for exercise purpose. By using these bands one can do various exercises for different muscles in the body. Majority of the resistance band exercises are focussed on abdominal muscles.

Yoga: –

Yoga is the ancient Indian method of exercises which was considered as a path of spiritual practice. Yoga is highly effective for stress management as it is a gentle form of exercise. Yoga also focusses on the proper breathing techniques which improves health.

Pilates: –
Pilates are the precise movements to achieve proper alignment, concentration, control, breathing and flow. It involves strengthening, stretching and stabilizing of muscles in the body.

Things you should know before starting workout-
Here are some tips for starting the journey of fitness-

· Choose your workout on the basis of your age, capacity, medical condition, etc. These factors play a vital role in your workout and health.

· Start your workout gradually. Do not make hurry for fast results. Sometimes it might cause severe injuries.

· Always begin your workout with Warm up. Then go for main exercises. And never forget to do stretching and cool down before stopping.

· There are many fitness trainers who guide people through their YouTube channel. You can follow their workout routine videos on YouTube.

· Remember – Variety is key. Never keep doing the same exercises for long duration. Always bring variety to your exercise routine. It will make your routine more interesting and will give you better results.

· For long term results, always follow slow and steady pattern of exercises. Rough movements during workouts not only hamper the results but also can harm you.

· Continuity and discipline are the most important factors that fetch better results in any task. So take continuous efforts with proper discipline for healthy lifestyle.

· Many of us do not know that sleep plays an important role in our health. Basically our muscles grow when we are sleeping. Proper rest must be given to the body to refresh itself for the next day. Hence enough sleep and rest will give you the best results.

Importance of healthy lifestyle should be taught to the small kids at early stage. So that they will achieve the best in their future. They should be made aware with the importance of exercise and sports in their life. It brings entertainment as well as strengthens the body.
