Fishkill, NY, March 1, 2023 - Karine Gordineer, Founder of Green Girl Herbs & Healing announces open registration for the 2023 Sacred Heart of Herbalism Level 1. This 10-month certificate course begins on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm EST Live Online. Log in information will be given upon registration.
Students will learn to work with herbalism in the way it was originally taught; infused with the Spirits of the Plants. “Native Peoples believe that to truly possess the healing powers of a plant one must be introduced to the Spirit of that Plant and be honored with its healing gifts,” said Karine Gordineer, MH, RM.
A sneak peek of what you’ll learn: how to work with herbs safely and effectively, the medicinal uses of over 100 local and easy to source herbs, how to make medicinal teas, infusions, decoctions, oils, salves, flower essences, tinctures, syrups, vinegars, and important skills such as creating herbal formulas. The course also includes an entire class on herbal gardening and an introduction to therapeutic aromatherapy and how to work safely with essential oils. You will gain confidence in how to keep yourself and your family healthy by working with healing plants to resolve minor ills, for every day first aid, and how to work with herbs preventatively. Discover your plant allies and learn to connect with herbs on a deep spiritual level and why that's important to our practices. Karine Gordineer has been practicing herbalism and the healing arts for over 30 years. She brings to her practice the wisdom and influence of her Algonquin and Ukrainian lineages, as well as extensive training and experience as an Herbalist, Certified Plant Spirit Healing Practitioner, Shamanic Practitioner, Certified Reiki Master, Sustainability Professional, Author, and Educator.
Karine is adept at blending the scientific and the sacred, the practical as well as the extraordinary.
