Dr Barry Barclay, President and CEO of Planet Biotech Inc. announced today the launch of a unique new product, a sunscreen that can be taken in pill form.

Barclay said, " after many years of research my colleagues at the University of Alberta and the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton believe that we have found a natural sunfilter in the human body."

He added, " We need to do a broadly based study over many years to obtain more statistically valid data -but even at this stage the scientists working on the project believe that the evidence is compelling and it seems possible that the risk of skin cancer could be lessened by a simple nutritional supplement."

Barclay stated "We are calling our new product innershade. Taken in pill form it prevents sunburning for many hours. It is composed entirely of natural vitamins present normally in the human body and contains no synthetic chemicals whatsoever."

He added "innershade is not a replacement for conventional sunscreens but works together with them to lessen the harmful effects of sunlight."

The product will be available globally on the worldwide web early in July at www.innershade.com.

Planet Biotech is a research and development company based in St Albert, Canada dedicated to "natural biotechnology"; high tech biological research that strives to cause no harm to human health or to the environment.

The company intends to use a substantial portion of the profits generated by sales of innershade to further research into cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
