PR Showcase 2000 & Public Affairs Showcase

21-22 November 2000
Royal Horticultural Halls, Victoria, London

The country’s biggest Public Relations http://www.rja-events.com/Documents/PRShowcase.htm event is now even bigger, with new dates, new features, and the added benefit of a Public Affairs section.

PR Showcase was launched in 1999 and immediately became the UK’s biggest PR event. This year, the event offers more than 30 exhibitors and 32 seminars with some of the biggest names from the Public Relations and Public Affairs industries sharing their views.

On the expanded seminar programme is Max Clifford, the country’s most famous – or infamous – Publicity Agent, whose presence is bound to stir up some controversy. Also appearing is Mike Granatt, Head of the Government’s Information and Communications Service, who will be speaking on “Spin and Integrity”.

A number of seminars will be led by senior figures from the biggest agencies in the UK, including Edelman, Shandwick, August One, Countrywide Porter Novelli, Firefly, The Marketeers and BBC Media Masterclass. Other high profile speakers include Richard Denny – “the UK’s Guru of Motivation” – Communications expert Michael Bland, and best selling author and journalist Annie Gurton.

This years event is sponsored by Media Disk, and supported by SCP, Midas Internet, IPRA and the AEO, as well as The Stationery Office, who are offering a free business book to everyone who books a seminar place. (*)

(*) subject to availability
Pre-booked places at the seminars are just £35 each (plus VAT) or £40 (plus VAT) if booked on the day (and if any space is available). Access to the exhibition is free, and pre-registered delegates will receive a free refreshment voucher, courtesy of the AEO to be redeemed at the event.

Richard John, Managing Director of organisers RJA Events Ltd said “last years show was a major breakthrough for the industry, and this years show is building on that success. Already more than 50% of the exhibition space has been reserved by leading industry providers, and last years delegates have been champing at the bit to get hold of this years seminar programme. We’re looking forward to a fabulous event”.
