Dubai Maritime City Authority celebrates national unity and cohesion during UAE Flag Day

Pressbox (Press Release) - In celebration of the UAE Flag Day, the Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has hoisted the national flag symbolizing unity, love, and peace. The UAE Flag Day is a national campaign launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and marks the 13th anniversary of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan becoming the UAE President.

Senior DMCA management and employees across departments attended the flag-raising ceremony held in the presence of H.E. Majid Obaid bin Bashir, Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Secretary General of the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Center. During the event, they also took the opportunity to renew their loyalty to the country and reiterate their pledge to always bring honor to the nation.

Amer Ali, Executive Director, DMCA, said: “The UAE Flag Day reflects the unity of all Emiratis and symbolizes their commitment to preserve the country’s dignity. Raising the UAE flag is an expression of our pride as we continue our march towards comprehensive and sustainable development that has begun since the country’s foundation more than four decades ago. On this national occasion, we extend our congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Members of the Supreme Council of the Union Rulers of the Emirates; Crown Princes; UAE Sheikhs; and the UAE people. Rest assured that DMCA will continue its pursuit of excellence and creativity as a show of respect for the national flag and in support of the ongoing initiatives to place the UAE on the global map.”
