The release of 'Radio Wonderlust vol 1' (WLUST CDA1) on 23rd April 2001 marks the UK launch of the new Wonderlust label, based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The CD showcases the extraordinary range of talent on Wonderlust's eclectic roster, featuring artists Storm Gordon, Dravidian, Drongo & the Navigator - all of whom are to release debut albums in the coming year. The label is to be distributed by Voiceprint, via Pinnacle.

With each of the artists already having debut albums prepared, or nearing completion, Dave Galbraith felt the time was now right to launch a collective label that gives each artist the freedom and support that they need to develop their highly individual music, without compromise.

The label was set up in June 2000, when the artists agreed to commit themselves to releasing their music on Wonderlust. Galbraith has since also secured the active support of Voiceprint, to oversee the label's distribution(via Pinnacle in the UK),& Hornall Bros.Music, his soundtrack publisher, have also recently agreed to administering Wonderlust Music on a worldwide basis.

'Radio Wonderlust vol 1' delights with a first taste of Storm Gordon's warm, soulful romanticism, Dravidian's mix of Indian & sampled beats and the surreal collage-songs(& poem) of Drongo. The album will be launched with a series of 3 live webcasts from venues in London & Scotland (venue tba early April) It will also include the first viewing of Drongo's 'Stone Against Stone' video filmed by Bafta award winning director Simon Dennis (www.simondennis.com)

Wonderlust Net will be overseeing these webcasts, as well as offering regular news updates on the artists & additional free, downloadable tracks at www.wonderlust.co.uk
