Meenakshi Sagar all set to prove her mettle in the Marathi Cinema with ‘Mitwaa”!

Pressbox (Press Release) - Ramanand Sagar's granddaughter Meenakshi Sagar has marked her arrival in the Marathi film production, under her banner 'Meenakshi Sagar Productions'. She recently launched her first movie named ‘Mitwaa’ during a press ceremony here in Mumbai. It’s a Marathi movie that is presented by Video Palace and featuring some big stars like Swapnil Joshi and Sonalee Kulkarni on board.

The movie is going to be directed by one of the famous Marathi directors named Swapna Waghmare-Joshi. While the main cast has been finalized, the hunt is on for another leading actor via the channel 9X Jhakaas.
Going in the similar direction, the channel has launched a unique talent hunt campaign to search for a new face for the movie. The campaign named as ‘Lux Jhakaas heroine’ will be taking the applications from all the aspiring actors from around the country.

Some renowned names like Actors Swapnil Joshi, Sonalee Kulkarni, Director Swapna Waghmare-Joshi, and Producer Meenakshi Sagar with her father Moti Sagar, Nanubhai Jaisinghani of Video Palace, Cinematographer Prasad Bhende, Music Director Amit Raj & Pankaj Padghan, Lyricist Ashwini Shende and other crew members marked their presence during the film launch.
