DK Project gives away their animation for free

LIMA, PERU. October 16, -DK Project is giving away the animation they create for free. This new website encourages visitors to download and share the animation and webmasters to publish it in their own site. "Doing this webmasters can add interesting content to their sites and our animation gets more exposure to the audience. It's a win-win situation." says Roxana Vasquez, marketing director for DK Project.

This enthusiastic team is very exited with the idea of sharing with people all over the world their ironic sense of humor. "We strongly believe there is an opportunity in cyberspace. Reaching massive audiences with almost no investment was a dream for everybody here in Peru 5 years ago. Now it is a reality and it is only one click away. We know our success will depend on the quality of our work and in the opportunities we choose to pursue. So how can we possibly not give it a chance?" says Ernesto Bottger, creative director.

DK Project's team is aware of the strong competition in this market yet they feel confident with the high quality of their work and with a viral marketing strategy. They confessed that in the future they will love to do this animation work for a living, but meanwhile they are enjoying this experience. "We have an excellent team. Our personalities and talents complement each other. We are used to work under pressure and yet always keep a good sense of humor, that's very important," says Bottger.

The idea is simple, its name: DK Project. This animation tells the story of a secret agency division formed by two teenage agents called Dott and Kave. Their mission: to destroy any bad product delivered by the entertainment industry. Each week a new animation is published in their website regarding themes such as movies, politics and music. It will pretty much cover anything that's on today's news.

At this point the team is not interested in making any profit from this idea. "We believe that sooner or later every copyrighted material will be available for free on the Internet. The value of this project relies on the people who enjoy our work. If we develop an audience that appreciates and enjoys our work, economic rewards will follow in different ways." adds Vasquez.

-more-

DK Project's team is formed by 3 Peruvian friends: Ernesto Bottger (24), Luis Casuso (26) and Roxana Vasquez (24). They met while classmates at the same faculty of communications university, they all studied Communications Sciences. Ernesto developed his expertise in animations while working freelance drawing storyboards for films and ads. Luis has been working in e-business projects for a year now and Roxana works in the marketing department of a management consulting firm.

The team is launching this website for the young American male audience. They have chosen this target because they feel deeply influenced by the American pop culture. "Nearly 90% of the TV programs our generation has been watching since we where born were American productions. With the introduction of cable TV, the programming was not only the same, but also delivered simultaneously. We have laughed with their jokes and cried with their pains, now we want to share our opinion as well" says Vasquez.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
