Education.com Set For Aggressive Interactive PR and Marketing Drive

Education.com http://uk.education.com have appointed New Media Maze http://www.newmediamaze.com, the Interactive Marketing Consultancy for PR and marketing, beating other agencies for the account.

Education.com, the first global portal for children, parents and teachers, awarded the six-figure account to New Media Maze following a pitch.

Launched in the UK in February last year, Education.com is a fast growing division of Vivendi Universal with offices in several countries worldwide including the US, France and Germany. They will particularly be seeking to exploit co-marketing relationships within the group following the appointment of New Media Maze, who already work with Universal Pictures, Universal Playback and Vision Video, companies that also form part of the Vivendi group. However, partnerships with learning and parenting focused sites and businesses outside of the group will equally form part of the remit.

The appointment of the full-service agency reflects Education.com’s increasing focus on online marketing activity to grow traffic on their web site and further increase subscriptions and sales through their site. Plans for the year include email marketing, affiliate marketing, commercial partnerships, search engine registration, PR, promotions and advertising. Whilst the focus will be predominantly online, the agency is retained for all PR and marketing.
