Since they were established in 1997, www.hitched.co.uk has continued to keep a focus on the areas of wedding planning that really matter. To any groom, best man or father of the bride, one of their biggest worries has always been the speech. The first thing ever to be published on the hitched wedding site was a speech and in a few short years, whilst the rest of the site has grown rapidly, the speeches section still remains one of the most popular areas of www.hitched.co.uk.

On the 1st June 2002, hitched.co.uk was proud to publish their 3=450th real wedding speech example. Each of the examples has been published with the permission of the author and has been supplied directly by them. Whilst the biggest selection of speeches are examples supplied by best men, there are also examples of grooms, father of the bride, maid of honour and bride speeches.
