Historical romance writer, Glynnis Campbell, has just received Romance Reviews Today's award for Best Anthology of 2001 for her contribution to "A Knight's Vow," also featuring authors Lynn Kurland, Patricia Potter, and Deborah Simmons, published by Jove Books.

Campbell's novella, "The Siege," is a romantic tale of a medieval knight and his reluctant betrothed, unaware of the other's identity and trapped together during an assault on her family's castle. The anthology earned a five-star rating from Harriet Klausner, and All About Romance praised it as "worth buying for the Campbell story alone."

"My Champion," Campbell's first novel, garnered her a Rita nomination from Romance Writers of America for Best First Book of 2000. The novel earned praise from best-selling author Katherine Sutcliffe, who said the book "sparkles with humor, vivid imagery, and charming characters," and was predicted by Romantic Times to leave readers "clamoring for more."

Campbell appeased clamoring fans with her second book, "My Warrior," which reviewer Harriet Klausner lauded as "exciting medieval romance" and Romance Reviews Today said will keep readers "glued to the pages."

"My Hero," Campbell's third novel, is due to be published in July 2002.

In addition to writing, Campbell is also a voiceover actress who has starred in such projects as the voice of Julie Winters in MTV's animated series, "The Maxx," Time-Warner's "Star Wars" audio adventures, and is the voice of Blizzard's best-selling CD-ROM games, "Diablo," as The Rogue, and "Starcraft," as Sarah Kerrigan.
