Access North Ayr Gala Day raises money for Hospice

ECONOMIC regeneration and employment training charity Access North Ayr raised a whopping £188.98 for The Ayrshire Hospice at a recent gala day held in the John Pollock Centre.
Events on the day included guessing the number of socks in the laundry bag in order to win a recycled washing machine and tumble dryer. In addition to this the winner also received a basket full of laundry products kindly donated by the Ayr branch of Tesco.
Other events on the day amongst others were Tin Can Alley and T-shirt printing, making the day extremely enjoyable for all participating.

Access North Ayr
Access North Ayr was formed in the autumn of 1998, and aims to improve access to job opportunities for all residents of the North Ayr Social Inclusion Partnership (SIP) who are either currently involved in, or wish to join the labour market, by developing the necessary skills and other personal qualities.
Access North Ayr carries out this aim through the provision of relevant vocational guidance, training, work experience, childcare and other appropriate support.
This brings economic benefit not only to these individuals and their families, but also to North Ayr as a whole.
