Redjacket.net is pleased to announce that its specialist network support services are now available to ALL LIFFE and EUREX traders.
Following a successful inception period with a small number of hand selected clients, the on-site support services of Redjacket.net have today been officially launched to the full marketplace.
Commercial Director Lee Wright said, “Our initial marketing pilot, which targeted a cross section of multi-exchange members initiated a positive response from 82 % of those companies selected. Our initial expectations have been exceeded by some 42%. This has enabled us to fine tune both our technical and business processes, allowing us to offer our full range of services in a manner and time frame which will guarantee the high level of service delivery that Redjacket.net believes is essential.”
Technical Director Adrian Sinclair-McCall added, “Our services operate on all levels. In a global financial institution we may be asked to provide expertise for a particular project such as a VPN conformance test or a DR plan. In a medium sized environment we can offer specialist support for the trading networks or firewall design supplementing the in-house teams where appropriate. In a small company we can be their entire IT contingent - our services really are that flexible. We have a great team of networking and systems specialists who thrive on fault resolution and continuous improvement. We are continuing to develop an ever increasing number of diagnostic tools which are located on a permanent monitoring station called the RedScout which we install at our client’s premises. The RedScout can often alert us to potential problems enabling us to put a fix in place before our clients are even aware of an issue developing.”

Redjacket.net provides specialist network support services to city institutions who trade electronically on the LIFFE and EUREX markets. The company was incorporated on 29th February 2000 and has been conducting a field trial of its services and processes since May. Technical support of electronic trading environments is particularly complex as a number of parties are involved in the overall provision of the total platform. The exchanges themselves, the independent software vendors (of which there are around twenty) and the trading members themselves all have partial responsibility for the successful delivery of the platform to the trader’s desktop. The staff of Redjacket.net are all highly experienced in the support of electronic trading platforms. As an independent company Redjacket.net is uniquely able to act in the best interests of the exchange member to resolve issues where otherwise it can be difficult to find any one party to take responsibility for the issue.
