Agnes Lewis has been named President and CEO of Xerox Engineering Systems (XES). The announcement was made today by XES Executive Chairman of the Board, Colin Oˇ¦Brien.

Ms. Lewis, former CEO of eQuorum Corporation in Atlanta, brings to XES 20 years experience in software business management that has steered companies through a broad range of development and growth. At eQuorum, Ms. Lewis repositioned the company by combining its predecessor CADNET with new web-based products and launching an e-commerce business-to-business portal.

ˇ§Ms. Lewisˇ¦ combination of entrepreneurial energy and strong business focus is ideally suited to XES,ˇ¨ said Colin Oˇ¦Brien. ˇ§She will be taking the reins of a young company that has a leadership position in the market and substantial resources in both personnel and technology. Prior to e-Quorum, Ms. Lewis held a number of executive positions in consulting, finance, customer services, and sales and marketing at Sterling Software, where in 1995 she spun off the Data Access Division and became its first president.

Ms. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
