Southampton rapper Mykez 2Nation the next big thing?

Mykez 2Nation’s upcoming single featuring on UK talent platform, Bars Upon Bars, has got to be one of the most exciting projects to date. Mykez 2Nation, based in the city of Southampton with the sounds of London, could be next up.
The freestyle video to the single is out Wednesday 21st September on YouTube, with that same day, Mykez 2Nation will be performing for HB Talent Live at BoxPark Croydon (BoxPark, 2022).
This track is highly anticipated to be a nightclub hit and Tik Tok sensation, with the sounds ranging between Rap, Afrobeats and Bashment. The instrumental was produced by KBEATS and the vocals produced by Mykez 2Nation himself, creating that perfect sound for the urban room at your local nightclub.
This single is a great follow up to Mykez 2Nation’s previous release ‘MULA’, in which was released on a well-recognised UK talent source, Link Up TV (Link Up TV, 2021).
The cover art also contains a reference to Mykez 2Nation’s ‘MULA’ single, with the cover art printed on his t-shirt (Bars Upon Bars, 2022).
Mykez 2Nation had a couple of his music reviewed by music sources. One of them being RIDE Music, which is an alternative hip hop and underground music hub founded by Newcastle Upon Tyne based journalist Johnathan Ramsay (RIDE Music, 2022).
‘MULA’, ‘Resurrection (EP)’ and ‘LOCAL GYM’ are projects reviewed by RIDE Music, with Johnathan Ramsay stating ‘RESURRECTION’ is “Mykez 2Nation’s most solid project to date” (RIDE Music, 2021).
‘Shoutout Letter’ has been the track that has helped Mykez 2Nation gain a following, with the lyric video currently on 60k views on YouTube (MykezOfficial, 2020).
Mixtape Madness, one of UK’s number 1 platform for urban music, has published an article of Mykez 2Nation’s track about COVID-19 called ‘Quarantine Lockdown’. Mykez 2Nation mentions about struggles with mental health, self-isolation and the Coronavirus affecting the world (Johnson, 2020).
