Varanasi Guru hosts a fund-raiser in collaboration with 12 local photographers for various under-privileged COVID stricken families facing resource scarcity in Varanasi. Manages to bring more than 1 lakh donations in just 6 days!
Varanasi Guru is a community-built platform that connects ancient Varanasi to the modern world by promoting local culture, art, history & stories. Varanasi Guru was founded by Saurabh Rastogi, a Delhi-based Banarasi entrepreneur who’s been helping a lot of small startups in the country to get recognized internationally.
Since its foundation, the platform has been working on educating the youth about the heritage of Varanasi so they can come forward to save and preserve the ancient Kashi.
Varanasi Guru has collaborated with 12 photographers who are selling their pictures to raise funds for the poor families in Varanasi. The Fundraiser is called Artists Against Covid.

To participate in the event, You can buy the pictures in form of Postcards and Photo Frames and the money will be donated to the hope welfare trust. The official partner of Varanasi Guru. Hope welfare trust is working on the ground to distribute medicines, food packets, and oxygen cylinders.
