International and Russian experts will discuss the main changes in healthcare, review the signs of transition to the model of personalized medicine and disease prevention. Special focus will be on significant changes in the health behavioral models of the population, which, in turn, affect transformation of health systems and work of medical organizations.
Virtual conference will gather speakers from London School of Economics, World Economic Forum, World Bank and others organizations. Russian experts will present the results of new research conducted by Lomonosov Moscow State University, Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Research Institute for Healthcare Organization and Medical Management.
Prof. Marina Sheresheva, Sc.Dr. in Economics, Director of the Research Center for Network Economy at Lomonosov Moscow State University, said: “The world economy and healthcare have entered a period of “pandemic turbulence”. In the context of the pandemic, recent months have shown an enormous impact of patient behavioral patterns on the effectiveness of healthcare systems. Research Institute for Healthcare Organization and Medical Management of Moscow Healthcare Department is the leading institute of Moscow healthcare system, and it has accumulated unique experience and data over these months.
