Essex writer sees book on Angels soar in charts

Inspirational author David Neil Irvin believes he’s doing nothing more than relaying the words and messages from angels in his highly-rated poetry collections..
The 60-year-old from Essex, who is now retired from his newspaper advertising role, has just released the follow-up anthology to his five-star rated debut, Love is the Voice in Heaven.
The 2018 collection of verse was described at the time by reviewers as ‘beautiful’, ‘inspirational’ and that ‘the author has definitely been touched by an angel’.
David has now returned with In Love We Speak, which has just reached the top ten of Amazon’s new age charts.
Both of his books stem from an unexpected epiphany at the end of the last century.
He explained: “Some 25 years ago I had my first encounter with angels – it was at the Mind body festival at Alexander Palace.
“That festival was the start of my spiritual journey with angels, and I found a way of reaching further than words can say.
“I had reached a low point in my life, and I needed to get my thoughts down on paper.
“In doing so I found inspirational messages coming out.
“As I wrote I was getting inspirational messages from angels and loved ones – the main message was that life goes on beyond.
“They help us from the other side of life, all we have to do is ask.
“We are all connected to the divine, through the doorway of your heart.”
From embarking on writing out poems and prose in longhand, David quickly accumulated more than 4,000 pages of work.
It took a suggestion from a friend to progress some of the uplifting stanzas to the printed page.
As with Love is the Voice in Heaven, In Love We Speak has an uplifting, ethereal quality that few poets beyond the Romantics have achieved.
David, who mostly writes in the early mornings, hopes readers of his collections will take comfort from the poems.
He added: “The message from In Love We Speak is that love is the beauty you hold in your heart through which angels and our loved ones who have passed will communicate.
“A thought or a memory, these messages come in all sorts of ways.
“My belief is God is an energy, and that power we call love.
“We have that power within us through the doorway of our heart.
“You are never alone for the power of love and angels are everywhere.”
Away from writing David takes further inspiration from reading Carol Anne Stacey, Grant Solomon and Carlos Castaneda.
