Pressbox (Press Release) - Adventurer, sports coach and hugely successful businessman Stephen Castree is better placed than most to offer lifestyle advice.
His debut book, Three Adult Lives, has unsurprisingly been described by critics as ‘thought provoking’, ‘a great work’ and ‘rewarding’.
The step-by-step guide from escaping the pressures and unfulfillment of day-to-day living has racked up a string of five-star reviews.
Stephen said: “Do you feel that you are in the middle of your life and stuck, with the excitement of day-to day living ebbing away?
“Do you feel that the indestructibility of youth which at one time flowed through your veins has dried up?
“Are you in your early career and somewhat lost?
“Do you feel you wish you had done more with your life when you were younger?
“If you answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then Three Adult Lives is for you.”
After graduating from the University of Birmingham and University of Lyon in France, Stephen moved into business.
He has helped start-up and manage around a dozen businesses, which have collectively created over 2,000 jobs, in industries such as land mine removal, climate change consultancy, agriculture and financial services.
Away from the boardroom, the 51-year-old from Buckinghamshire regularly completes marathons and was a swim coach with the Bermuda national team for the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and the London 2012 Olympics.
Now based in Bermuda with his long-term partner, Danielle, Stephen lives something of a nomadic and adventurous existence, having visited and explored more than 50 different countries.
But the avid mountain climber is only too aware of how easy it is to become trapped by modern life’s expectations.
He hopes Three Adult Lives will provide the inspiration for readers to reflect and aim for fresh and more rewarding futures.
He added: “Three Adults Lives presents a new way of reviewing and positioning your life, both from a chronological perspective and an ideological one.
“It walks you through identifying how you became you, what causes you to be, think and behave in a specific way, and it allows you to peel back the onion of who you are layer by layer, inviting you to question, to think, and to transform yourself in this radical new approach to living.
“It is a liberating read which offers a new perspective on some very old questions.
“What comes next, and how you choose to live each one of your own Three Adult Lives, well that is up to you.”
